North American Tour: Day 3 – Boston.

It rained all day today. For all my friends and family in the hot south, I have posted a picture of what this event looks like.

We took the kids and cruised down to the Children’s Museum of Science & History in downtown Boston. Had a brief look at Harvard and MIT, and once again had a generally good and adventurous day. Jon and Lisa whipped up some killer homemade waffles and white chocolate lattes for me this morning, and that started off things very well! I ’suggested’ that they load me up with some of those for my departure. I’ve requested a ‘5 shot’ drink.

Lots of playing – some outside in the drizzle, some in the house. The kids had fun playing with their cousins Erin & little Johnny. Caelan even managed to get into some paint that she was not supposed to find, and fortunately she only got it on herself (not the furniture)! Have had a great time here, and Jon & Lisa have been outstanding hosts. The weather has been great also – mid 60’s both days.

Picked up my mother-in-law Sandy at Logan airport tonight, and she will be accompanying for the next few days on my tour. I’m tired now – been ‘on duty’ for awhile and that is tough. Must be tough to be a single mom or dad, and I respect that. Off to Montreal tomorrow to see Sarah and have a grand time.
